Hi Again

I am Currently working with AP 1.10.5 on a MacPro Running Monterey 12.3 Mac OS

While I expect your developers are very busy fixing problems and developing the next release, I would like to make some requests for future features.

1. A user settable preference for "Ruler Units" so that one only needs to make the selection once and AP remembers it . Currently every  time on opens in Photo persona the units are defaulted back to pixels from inches. Maybe if you could explain why it is setup this way it would make sense to leave it as is?

2. My previous request for another preference of identifying a display in a two or more display configuration, as to what each will display. As an example the Image window on the secondary display and studio panels on the first (or Main display) giving the user unobstructed view of the image only rather than cluttering it up with Panels. I can see this in a single display situation but with multiple displays on the system. This would be a set once and the system remembers the setting in User preferences. I previously sent you this request along with the download location for a temporary fix I am using, Spectacles 1.2 free app. This functionality as a user settable preference would be nice rather than pressing short cuts every time the app launches.

3. Here again I sent a previous message asking for the ability within the Photo persona to select multiple open files so that when the develop menu button is pressed it would save all of the settings for the particular lens settings would be applied to all selected open images. This would allow users to at the very least process numerous images at once for focus stacking or HDR generation. Currently, the workflow is to process each image individually, export it since AP doesn't seem to recognize .afphoto files for these types of image generation? It would also offset the lack of "DAM" functionality not to mention speed up processing.

I don't know if any of these things are possible but I believe they would help us photographers that believe in AP to improve their outputs only making the bRand stronger.

Thanks,

If you create a new document whose definition is in pixels (or other units), the pixels (or other units) are used as the base units of that document.
Alternatively, if you open a document that is a bitmap image (eg PNG, JPEG, TIFF) whose base information unit is "pixel", pixels will be used as the base unit.

Hi

Thanks for the explanation response.

It would be nice to have a preference setting though, so that one could set this to another measurement unit, to print or resize in Inches or cm not pixels.

I don't know if this difficult but it would be nice to have the ability when needed.

Regards,
