FAEGames Posted March 29, 2022 Posted March 29, 2022 Hi all. I have the same text across two documents and to me in both documents the text settings look the same, but in one text frame there are 'extra lines' in between which aren't present in the other. See the the pictures. I thought this is configured with the leading, but there seems to be another thing at play? Quote
Old Bruce Posted March 29, 2022 Posted March 29, 2022 The one with the extra space may have the Align to Baseline on in the text frame and or the Paragraph Style. The frames/documents may have different baseline sizes too. walt.farrell and FAEGames 1 1 Quote Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6 Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 | Beta versions as they appear. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
walt.farrell Posted March 29, 2022 Posted March 29, 2022 (edited) Edit: Actually, not the Paragraph decoration, as that would fill to the margins. The first one looks like you are using a Decoration (Fill) from the Paragraph panel: The second one looks like you are using a background color from the Character panel: Edited March 29, 2022 by walt.farrell Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU.
