Hi @Sandra WW,

Welcome to the Affinity Forums :)

Please open Affinity Designer then navigate to Edit > Preferences > Performance, at the bottom of this dialog please untick Hardware Acceleration, then restart the app as prompted and try editing once again.

Does this reduce the crashing behaviour you're seeing please? Many thanks in advance!

Many thanks for providing this! I'd like to try updating your GPU drivers to see if this helps - you can find a link to the latest drivers below:

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/19344/intel-graphics-windows-dch-drivers.html

Once downloaded, please follow the steps to perform a 'Clean Installation', as outlined below:

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000057389/graphics.html

After performing the clean install, restart your PC and then try editing in Affinity once again. Please do let me know if this helps :)
