Blur filter with mask leads to wrong colors

Recommended Posts

Hi,

When using a simple file:

  • backfill blue
  • add group, fill layer in red
  • add another object (text/rectangle) in grey
  • Add a Gaussian blur
  • use erase brush on inherent mask of blur
  • expected: colors result in mix of red / blue, red / grey (less sarurated), blue / grey. Never green/yellow.
  • observed: Photo results in wrong colors for formerly grey areas. Colors change to yellow (hue 60) despite all fill layers are either pure red, blue, or grey.

Issue affects all platforms.

Hi @NotMyFault,

I'm currently looking into this now, it looks like the .MOV you attached has not linked correctly in your post, could you try uploading it again or to the linked dropbox?
