If this topic exists, I apologize in advance. I don't know what to call this issue to properly look for it.

I have a document that is RGB & Size of 43200px x 28800pix. All my tiles are properly budded up against one another.... (more below).

I need to down size a copy at 1000 px on long end.

Issue: When I downsize - each individual tile gets transparent gaps between them. I don't want to flatten because I may need to revise the tiles for the customer. Below is how they look after the down size.

Why do my edges turn out like this?? Is there a setting im missing? I have these checked on (tried off too).

Note: my edges don't do this in photoshop when down size. So I wonder if its a setting thing im missing or if this an un-reported issue?

When changing the size of pixel layers you run into problems if the changes don't result in exact integer dimensions.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6
Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

I see. I need to redact what I said about photoshop not doing it. It DOES the same thing. Just not as bad. I had to retest to be sure.

Im going to see how it turns out if I round up to a whole integer and see if that messes things up and also see how my tiles resize in the process as well. I appreciate the help!

You are lucky in this case, all of your pieces have only horizontal and vertical edges.
You don't need to pay any attention to being pixel perfect.
Adjust the Coverage Map in the Blend Options (accessed through the cog wheel in Layers panel)

Move the left node up, or do something like this:

Do I use the blend options for each tile or just on a group of tiles? Also, do I use blend options after I downsized? Or before?

1) Has to be applied to the individual objects (iow not on a group), BUT they can all be done at once.
2) In this case, don't think it matters.
