Selecting All Objects At Group Level For ADD

I want to ADD all objects in a group but it doesn’t work unless I select each object individually. 
Selecting by group works for moving, duping or changing color - for example - but not for any object manipulation. 
‘Anyway to do this?  Thanks

As far as I know, you cannot apply boolean operations by selecting the group itself (nor between groups), but you can apply booleans if you select the shapes IN the group (so you don’t have to ungroup to apply add, for example).

You don’t need to select the objects one at a time, if that’s what you mean. Go to the Layers Studio, expand the group by tapping on the tiny right-pointing triangle, tap on the first object to select it, and then two-finger tap on the last object to select that object and all the others in between the first and last.
