Symbols: Change text, retain text attributes

Is it possible to create a symbol that includes text, detach the text while retaining symbol synchronizing with the text color, size and font?

In other words, box with text:

Cat Dog Frog

with color, font and size synchronized for each word?

Not that I’m aware of, but I would be happy to learn otherwise.

The 'immediate' contents of a Symbol have to be the same as the contents of all of the other same symbols, that’s how they work.

However, you can group symbols inside other symbols so you can construct symbols from other symbols, e.g. background symbol which is used in other symbols – see attached crude mock-up.

I don’t know how well this would work if you added Text Styles into the mix but you could try that and see what happens.
