AffDesigner (Mac)1.10.5 :Difference between node-position and Object Handles

Recommended Posts

I need to place a number of chevrons in a vertical centrered line-up along a guide.
It appears that the object handles and the node position differ.

In first instance the object snaps to the guides per the object handles instead of the nodes
after which I have to reposition it so that it snaps to the nodes.

This is really noticeable when zooming in closely (f.i. +900% and up).

Is there something I can change in the snap-settings ?

All help appreciated, Thanks,

C.L.

The guides are asymmetrical on the left they are 3.8mm and on the right they are 3.7mm

If you increase the decimal places for mm in preferences you'll get a more accurate reading and I think you will find the disaparity between the nodes and the bounding box handles will show it's because of the asymmetrical guide layout.

To demonstrate this more the chevrons lines are different lengths.
