Notsweet
I'm exporting the file as EPS and it automatically turned some of the outlines into shapes. Why? Anybody knows how to fix this? Basically I just want to export the file for Ai, but it just keeps changing things without permission.
ashf
Use PDF or SVG instead of EPS. PDF usually has the best result. but it does not retain layer hierarchy, which SVG does.

ashf
Is the stroke alignment set to center?https://affinity.help/designer/en-US.lproj/index.html?page=pages/Panels/strokePanel.html?title=Stroke panel Otherwise they may be converted into a curve. Notsweet
Yes it is set to the centre.
Notsweet
They are exactly the same line setting, it just picked random ones to turn into curve. If you have to find a difference, most lines turned into curves were drawn today, the ones remained were drawn yesterday.
iuli
@Notsweet Hi, dumb question, but maybe you’re exporting some of those curves with a little pressure applied by mistakes, which get expanded on export? (Please disregard if you meant/ experience something else.) Also — I think a screen recording would help users here understand better what exactly your issue is — and how to fix it; all the best! Staff DWright Posted March 21, 2022 Staff Share Posted March 21, 2022 In the EPS export window please click the More button and then change the Rasterise to Nothing and turn off the Allow JPEG compression and your EPS export should now only have vector curves

Not dumb at all. I just found out that's the case. All the ones got turned into curve have an extra dot on the pressure line. Thanks very much. ashf and iuli
