iuli
All brushes are made with raster geometric shapes (on vector curves) over which I applied various opacities, blur intensity levels and other effects. I’ve been using them for vector illustration as shading brushes with iPad Pro, Apple Pencil and the “vector brush tool”. Max tail offset is 600px. Width is set at 100px for all brushes (modify according to your needs). They can be used for anything with no worry. All the best! shading brushes.afbrushes Rudolphus, Hilltop, buschbrand and 8 others 7 4 Quote StudioLink 256gb 11’ M1 iPad Pro iPadOS 17 Public Beta 1 iPad Magic Keyboard

I’m fairly certain that I made these brushes following an ample discussion about “how to” make affinity vector brushes, where you explained the process and tricks to keep the size down. My issue back then was the lack of RAM on iPad Pro 9.7, (using big brushes would crash and slow AD a lot), so I had to shrink a brush size from over 1mb to 40kb or so, without losing quality. (Thank you, and much appreciated!) StuartRc 1 Quote StudioLink 256gb 11’ M1 iPad Pro iPadOS 17 Public Beta 1 iPad Magic Keyboard

(Thank you, and much appreciated!) Totally agree. Some time ago a lot of the tutorials outlining the creation of 'vector' brushes emphasised brushes with 1500 - 2000 pixel width x height...it is not really necessary as you have found.. I haven't produced any brushes this small though.. I will look into it!. iuli 1 Quote Affinity Version 1 (10.6) Affinity Version 2.4.2 All (Designer | Photo | Publisher) Beta; 2.5 2.2402 OS:Windows 10 Pro 22H2 OS Build 19045.4046+ Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.19053.1000.0 Rig:AMD FX 8350 and AMD Radeon (R9 380 Series) Settings Version 21.04.01 Radeon Settings Version 2020 20.1.03) + Wacom Intuous 4M with driver 6.3.41-
Stitches
I like the built-in blur and see these brushes could be useful right off the bat. I'd be interested to see how you are using them. I did a quick little test with just some shapes. Very nice. Thanks. iuli
