Publisher Won't Open

Publisher has worked great for me up until today when it won't open. I've tried restarting my computer, uninstalling and reinstalling and neither has worked. What else can I try?

Can you give us a few more details? What OS are you running? What happens when you launch the app? Does it display any error message, anything? Did it start failing after an update or you didn't change anything...

Hi Crystalyn,

Since Sunday I had the same problem with all three Affinity applications. Please, look in my thread "Designer-Photo-Publisher no longer starting". Dan C his suggestion worked for me and maybe will work for you too. Before Sunday, everything was normal, but for some unknown reason, since Sunday they were no longer working.

I'm having the same issue. I open Publisher and it shows on my taskbar but will not open. When I hover over icon on taskbar I can see a small box showing what I opened but I can't open it fullscreen.

Try this:

• Click the Application logo in the Task Bar;
• Press Alt+Space then N;
• Click the Application logo in the Task Bar again;
• Press Alt+Space then X;
• Press Alt+Space then R;
• Press Alt+Space then M;
• Press any keyboard arrow key;
• Waggle your mouse around a lot.

Can you see the application window again?
