affinity photo non responsive

I have been using affinity photos for more than 5 years on the same machine, but recently it has started giving me non responsive errors on each step. Each edit takes a few seconds to process even zooming in the images

I did the below steps for diagnosis.

1. Reinstalled. 
2. Using only Affinity photo and closing all app.  
3. Editing 1 image at a time.  

Below is my Sustem Configiration. 

Processor: Intel i7-7500u 2.7 Ghz

RAM: 16 GB

Display Adaptors: 

1. Intel HD Graphics 620
2. Nvidia GeForce 940MX. 

Please help, as this is making it Affinity photos unusable.

If hardware acceleration is on try turning it off. Edit->Preferences->Performance. And upgrade your graphics drivers, preferably a clean install.

Hi RichardMH, 

Thank you for your suggestion actually the Nvidia is making the things worst. I compeltely disabled the Nvidia and it is working smooth.
