Paul Mudditt
If you export on iPadOS15.4, then do some modifications and export again the exported image is the first image exported not the second. The fix is to close app and restart it and export again. M1 iPad Pro 8GB 256GB. Staff stokerg Posted March 15, 2022 Staff Share Posted March 15, 2022 Hi @Paul Mudditt, I've replicated this and will get it logged with the Dev team. You can also you see when it's going to happen, as when you go to Export>Share the thumbnail shown will be for the previous edit you've done. Paul Mudditt
@stokerg BUMP This is still not fixed with iPadOS15.5 released yesterday and now see on my Facebook groups that it is not just M1 iPads but iPads over three years old are also affected. This bug needs fixing, getting very concerned now as to why this bug is not a priority. DM1 1 Quote My dad always told me, a bad workman always blames their tools…. Please don't think this has been forgotten about. As soon as i know any more, i'll post back. Paul Mudditt
Steve N
I’ve been seeing this as well, very frustrating. I found that I only need to go to the documents picker screen and re-open that photo to work around the problem, I don’t have to quit and restart Affinity Photo 1.10.5.280 on my M1 iPad Pro. iOS 15.4.1. BeverlyE
The problem is still present in late June. I have a slightly different situation. I import a photo and extract part of it to use in another app. All goes well until I import a second photo to do another extraction. When I export it the app only exports a second copy of the previous photo. This has not always been a problem. Please fix this bug!! Paul Mudditt
In my tests of iPadOS 16 public beta on my M1 iPad Pro, the problem appears to have been fixed in both Photo and Designer, so maybe an obscure OS bug affecting some devices rather than a Serif bug.
