(DESIGNER & PHOTO) Possible Bug, Align Artistic Text

I think this is a bug. I could not locate, using forum and Google searches, any previous reports of this.

The text parts and whole text line, disappears when aligning using the Align in the Toolbar.

Steps to Recreate

1. Create new document. Size, DPI, is immaterial.
2. Using the Artistic Text Tool, type some text.
3. Using the Align tool in the toolbar, choose to Align to Center, then Align to Middle of Spread.
4. Part of and then the whole text line disappears. It seems like it's masked.

However I'm thinking it might be a redraw issue. I can move the text and it appears.

Attached screen recording showing this in Designer. I've also tested this in Photo with the same results.

I just tried it (Windows, AD 1.10.5.1342) and I see the same thing, it did not happen with previous versions.

Hi @Ron P.,

I've replicated the issue here on Windows.  The same workflow on MacOS works fine.

It does look like a redraw issue to me as well, i'll get this logged with the Dev team

I too am hitting this on Windows.  No issue on Mac.

Resetting the color of the text seems to resolve the issue, as a short-term workaround.

But zooming in and out is probably a simpler workaround, if you're having the same problem (as mentioned above).

Just curious whether this one was actually logged, @stokerg, as there's no bug-tracking tag showing for it.

I am also having this issue but on a Mac

I have been using the Zoom tool to resolve this issue thanks to Hens' suggestion. I do hope to see this fixed soon.
