I have a font where the A-glyph has three Unicode code points (Latin Greek Cyrillic).
Sorting Glyph Browser by Unicode shows A, Alpha, and the Cyrillic A separately, and I can insert them into text with the proper Unicode.

When I sort the Glyph Browser by Unicode plus Alternates, small caps are shown next to each of the three A's, but then all A's are inserted with the Unicode of the Latin A. Alpha becomes A. That is inconsistent and confusing.

When I insert an alternate like small capital A, in any font, it gets inserted as Glyph without Unicode, instead of being the alternate of the preceding glyphs. What is the point of showing Alternates when they are not being treated as alternates, i.e. the origination glyph with feature applied. Solving this might solve the inconsistent character insertion as well.
