Komatös Posted March 10, 2022 Posted March 10, 2022 Hi @Icykenny92 and welcome to the forums. Did you complete the action with "Add plane" before selecting the move tool? Komatös Posted March 10, 2022 Posted March 10, 2022 I wonder what you are trying to achieve with the Mesh warp tool? The tool is not intended for cropping. The Mesh Warp Tool is for distorting objects in perspective. For directional cropping it is better to use the cropping tool. Icykenny92 Posted March 11, 2022 Author Posted March 11, 2022 I use it to make texture for blender. And yes that was a very bad example. My point was simply that the tool i'm trying to use don't work as intended. So i think im just going to report it as an bug. Quote
GarryP Posted March 11, 2022 Posted March 11, 2022 Before you report this as a bug it might be better if you tell us what you are trying to do, in detail, and why you are trying to do it. We can replicate what you are doing but, in order to know how best to advise, we need to know what it is that you are trying to do, not – at the moment – how you are trying to do it. Quote
Dan C Posted March 11, 2022 Posted March 11, 2022 Hi @Icykenny92, Welcome to the Affinity Forums I can see you have reported a bug within the below thread, however it doesn't appear as though your screen recording has uploaded correctly there, as I am unable to download or view this file. However I can see in the screen recording provided above that when entering the Live Perspective Correction, the grid appears to being horizontally, and not vertically like your canvas - which I don't believe to be correct. Can you please reply here with a copy of the JPEG image, as well as a separate copy of the .afphoto file shown in your recording, so I can investigate this further? Many thanks in advance!
