Feature Request: Invert Vector Mask

Was surprised this option not there. Always good to be able to carve away pieces of a drawing. Be great to have the option to do this with vectors instead pixels to make the most of AD. Keen on this in iPad version but should be cross platform.

I tested this as workaround (on iPad), and it worked in principle (but for display only, not for export):

  1. create your vector mask
  2. add a rectangle in size of canvas below
  3. create compound (subtractive mode)
  4. Put compound to masking position of your target layer
  5. add a channels mixer adjustment on alpha, set alpha to -100, offset to +100
  6. nest to mask position of target layer (above vector mask)

now by toggling the channels adjustment you get the desired effect, still able to change the vector mask any time.

Disadvantage: will lead to rasterization in export.bTo stay vector, when ok with mask, decide which version is wanted, and remove helper layers. Maybe use linked layers / symbols to automate.
