jonasbonas Posted March 10, 2022 Posted March 10, 2022 Hello, is there any way to create my own vector brushes in Designer? Just like a simple line brush (attached). I could do it with "appearance" but rather i just want to create brushes like in Adobe Illustrator. To change the line color afterwards for example. Or if it comes to overlapping i want only the strokes to overlap. Not the filling. Is there any way to do proper vector brushes? Could not find anything on the internet.. Jonas Quote
Staff NathanC Posted March 10, 2022 Staff Posted March 10, 2022 Hi @jonasbonas, Unfortunately the only current method to achieve a true vector brush would be to use Appearance panel as you have described. A multi-brush would require an image first which would not be true vector. You can find out more information on this in the below topic. Thanks, N Quote
jonasbonas Posted March 10, 2022 Author Posted March 10, 2022 Too bad.. hopefully they will implementate a good tool, just as illustrator. Pixel based brushes are more or less useless in this case.. Quote
