IanBarber Posted March 9, 2022 Posted March 9, 2022 With some of the software I create, I am thinking of supplying a PDF help type document for the end user so I thought about using Affinity Publisher. For those who have experience in this field, what do you suggest as a a document size with all these different devices we have these days. Do you go with A4 Portrait, Landscape or even some other size. It was much easier back in 1989 when we all used 640 x 480 monitors Quote
v_kyr Posted March 9, 2022 Posted March 9, 2022 If it's sort of a software manual, then I would go the common A4-Portrait size way, since users/people might want to print out sections of it, or the whole manual. Further mostly all relevant devices should nowadays be able to showup and zoom/scroll/shrink ...etc. A4 based PDF files.
