augustya Posted March 8, 2022 Posted March 8, 2022 HI Guys, I am trying to remove this Man from this Photo marked with an arrow in the first photo. I have tried using the inpainting Brush tool, but it is not doing a very neat job. Any suggestions on how can I remove this Man from the Photo ? Thanks in Advance ! Quote
Andy05 Posted March 8, 2022 Posted March 8, 2022 I'd use a combination of clone stamp tool in order to extend the wall and the metal framework towards the bottom. Some adjustment layers (contrast, colour, brightness etc.) as well as some inpainting retouches could help with fine-tuning the cloned areas. carl123 Posted March 8, 2022 Posted March 8, 2022 Just copy a clean part of the metal stand and place it so it lines up where you want it (downwards) You will need to do this twice to cover the length required The final section will cover part of the man's arm, so just quickly copy that part of the arm to a new layer and move it to the top of the layers stack augustya 1 Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. I may sound a little Novice so kindly please bear with me So you are saying Create a new Pixel Layer Copy the section of the Steel Stand which connects properly right from the Mid part till the end ? right ? that’s what you are saying ? And about the Man’s Arm Part when you say copy that part as in directly copy but then how can I move that to a new Layer ? Quote

Thats what I am asking ? Quote

At least that's what a little birdie told me 😜 Hey Just a question. i liked the nitty gritty and detailing that you have preserved in this picture that is the steel frame comes perfectly down and it also has maintained the wooden chair and the subject's hand also intact ? So how did you do that ? Like @carl123 mentioned copy some section and paste again or did you use the clone tool. I am getting fascinated with the end result you have got is because you have been able to maintain a lot of details in your end results. Quote
