However, since a a few weeks now, when I use designer its getting stuck and is extremely slow. For eg: the app starts as normal but after a few seconds when I use a tool or a brush it gets stuck. Komatös Posted March 7, 2022 Share Posted March 7, 2022 Hi, @Magnascha and welcome to the forums. Maybe deactivating the hardware acceleration in Designer helps. Go to Edit -> Preferences -> Performance. In the lower part of this window you'll find the option. Untick the hardware acceleration. Does performance improve if you use a much smaller brush size? Also as you are also having problems in the beta, it would be best to make a post in the beta section so the QA can investigate this issue with the beta. Moohr Posted March 11, 2022 Share Posted March 11, 2022 Same here and it's not new ... will be great for Afinity Team to start solving this. Designer is specialy making my cursor slow laggy when I am over the UI ... wtf ? My cmputer is a beast build for 3D real time rendering so performance is not an issue, I am on Win 11 but that's should not be an issue too and I had this problem on Win 10 so what's happening ?
