Grid overlay moves randomly/

I have been having issues with the grid since the newer update. Sometimes it has been centred, other times it has moved to the right and down on the next image, (not a very useful guide) I could sometimes get it back to normal by rebooting Affinity but not always.

After a few hours of scrolling through the forum I found your mention - have you tried turning off hardware acceleration? This fixed it so I am sharing in case others are going crazy with random happenings.

While on the topic of the grid there doesn't seem to be a way to set a custom grid as default. I have to select it each time!! There are a few Affinity controls that are not 'sticky' which is really annoying when you are doing fast fairly repetitive work. Maybe I am missing something here?

Thanks for letting us know, hardware acceleration is still causing a few issues with some of the tools and UI elements, hopefully our developers can improve these areas.
