I see that we have an isometric grid tool (which is awesome btw). But how about a perspective grid tool? Where we have the option to place our vanishing points, adjust the line spacing, change the color, etc

A quick forum search for “perspective grid” (without the quotes) gives me these existing threads, amongst others:

If you want new functionality then it’s best to search for any existing request(s) and add a post to one of them rather than adding to the problem of too many threads about the same thing. This makes it easier for people to find answers or the latest official response from Serif.

Search for perspective grid (more than 350 results)

Search for "perspective grid" (fewer than 150 results)

I rather suspect that omitting the quotation marks merely introduces a lot of noise into the list of results.

I think it probably depends on what you mean by “noise”.

As far as I know, using quotes around a phrase in the search box limits the search to only that phrase worded exactly as given (ignoring upper/lower case).

Therefore, when searching for “perspective grid” (with the quotes), the search would not find sentences such as “I want a grid which lets me draw with perspective” or “I want to draw with perspective, is there a grid that will help me to do that?”, and so forth.

I normally suggest searching without the quotes as it doesn’t limit the search to specific wording but, in this particular case, I agree that using the quotes might take the user to where they need to be more quickly.

I’ve had problems with the search facility in the past so I don’t really trust the results when I do a search which contains more than just the words I’m looking for. (The search facility might be ‘better’ after recent upgrades but I’m comfortable doing it the way I’m used to doing it.)
