I say surprisingly because in early versions of iPadOS, the share interface always seemed to share the optimised JPG rather than the raw so I suspect it is a change in iPadOS. If you do not have an IOS Shortcut search these forums should show you how easy they are to create. 1. Import from photos = PIXELATED 2. Import from iCloud = HIGH RES 3. Share interface from photos = HIGH RES The share button doesn’t show up in ios15. That is a good option but i’m still wondering why the images are poxalted when going directly from photos app when they never did before. It would be nice if Serif would supply and explanation. rbruno
I’m using ios 15 . The option to open using Affinity photo doesn’t show up using the share button. But that is a nice addition. But i’m still wondering why photos are pixelated now when they never use to be. It would be nice if Serif would give an explanation.

Open in Affinity Photo is an IOS Shortcut which will work on your iPadOS15, which is like a windows batch file, that I wrote. Many people use them with Affinity. Just download the Apple Shortcuts app from the app store on your iPad. Quote My dad always told me, a bad workman always blames their tools…. Just waiting for Ronny Pickering….. Ralph When you write your own, search for the ‘open file’ command as shown here and NOT the ‘open app’ command which is a common mistake. I don’t know of a way to send a pre-made shortcut to you but they are very simple after you do the first one. Quote My dad always told me, a bad workman always blames their tools….
