CM0
All live filters that use any positional references break when duplicated. This effectively makes most live filters useless for many use cases. There is no way to make variants of your work or replicate multiples of items within a piece of work. Attached is a sample of filters. First row is duplicated twice. You will see the second duplicate looks incorrect for all filters. live-filters-broken-duplicate.afpub
NotMyFault
Hi, what object did you duplicate, the filter only, or group of rectangle and filter? As the duplacetes where moved, when did you move them, as part of power-duplicate (including the move) or later? Filters (without mask) are dimensionless and behave special (normally you can’t move them by move tool unless you add a non-trivial mask) What is your expected behavior. I assume you want the hand-selected origin to be fixed (relative to what? Canvas, or other objects in the same group)? Which options in transform panel were active (lock children, transform separately) ? CM0
The rectangles containing the filters were duplicated. I have reported this previously for the perspective filter. It has already been acknowledged as a bug. However, I discovered it seems to be all the filters. I have spent hours/days trying to find workarounds. Staff Callum Posted February 28, 2022 Staff Share Posted February 28, 2022 Hi CM0 I believe this is being caused by the same problem in your previous report so I have updated our log to include the extra information found here. Hopefully this is solved soon. Thanks C CM0 1 Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP.
CM0
Thank you. FYI, out of all the issues I've opened, this is the highest priority for me. I have found no work around and the impact to the type of work I'm producing is the greatest. Just some feedback I hope you could pass along for prioritization. Thanks!
