How to make this Stars, so I can use it

Recommended Posts

Hi

Need help, I am very bad with making graphics, still learning.

I have this image, but I need to change it to be like this screenshot.

Need to be transparent to use on top of other images and be able to change the color of it.

Size 695x695, did search to do online, but cannot find on how to do this.

Is there a tutorial for this

It's easy to do ...

  1. Create a new document with w x h size settings of your 695x695 px and check/enable the [x] transparency box.
  2. Load in your shown image here as a template, resize it to the document/canvas boundaries and lower it's layer visability (to ~35 %), also lock it's layer it doesn't accidentily move around.
  3. Now start to place star shapes, rounded rects with text and the arrows. Size, rotate and place them accordingly, set them to your needed colors (use the color picker to grab colors from your initial image).
  4. When all is done "remove/delete/or hide" the bottom background image template layer and save/export to your needed file format.

Here is a sample Affinity Designer document template, I've just done one two things on, so leaving the rest to be done by you. - Copy/paste other stars, drag them to their place and rotate them slightly. Copy/paste the top rounded rect, resize it and change the text etc. Look for better arrows, I've just used one which Affinity offers as a default here.

Hi @OdieZ,

You can place an F letter on the top star, duplicate it 14 times as you did for the stars.
Then replace the top two F's with N and T and the bottom four with 2, 0, 2, 2. Hide or delete the remaining F's.
Then hide or delete the stars under the letters and numbers.
Depending on the orientation you want for 2022, reverse them. I placed guides to respect the location of the numbers.
