When I open a .jpg file and draw a rectangle over the image, pieces of the rectangle remain in the image and it looks distorted. Please see screenshot attached. walt.farrell Posted February 18, 2022 Posted February 18, 2022 Does it clear up if you zoom in and out again? If so, it's a rendering issue that's annoying but doesn't actually affect the file. Or, perhaps it's caused by a problem with Hardware Acceleration. That's a setting in Designer's Preferences, in the Performance section. If it's enabled, you might try disabling it and restarting the application to see if that resolves the problem. It DOES actually clear up when I zoom in, however I tried the steps you recommended but it did not quite resolve the issue. I also tried switching to my graphics Card as the default renderer, but that also didn't help. Is there perhaps anything else I could try? Thanks for your help! Quote

The later uses more aggressive, less tested optimization tricks to make games render faster, with increased risk of rendering artifacts. The Studio driver will probably a slightly older version, nothing to worry about.
