What happened: when exporting a vector project to a vector format (SVG, EPS, or PDF), extra content shows up that isn't in the original.

When exporting to a pixel format such as PNG, the extra content does not show up and the image looks correct.

What I expect to happen: vector format exports should not have extra content that wasn't in the original.

See attached original file and exports. Compare the PNG file, which is correct, to the SVG, EPS, and PDF files--which have a large artifact sticking out the bottom and another one from the top right.

I don't know what's special about this file. I can't reproduce this at will using other files, so I can't give you step-by-step instructions to reproduce. But it happens consistently when exporting this file.

I used the default export settings for each format (PNG, SVG, EPS, PDF).

Happens on both Mac and iPad versions of Affinity Designer. Mac version 1.10.4, with or without hardware acceleration. iPad version 1.10.19.

MacOS version 12.2.1. iPadOS version 15.1.

Part of the problem is there are some coincidental nodes But the big problem is the pressure curve which has a lot of points but no real change to the width of the stroke.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6
Affinity Designer 2.5.7 | Affinity Photo 2.5.7 | Affinity Publisher 2.5.7 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

Hi Old Bruce, I'm not sure I understand—are you saying there's an issue with this design or there's a bug in the software? Or something else?

The former. The issue is the pressure curve, if you reset it and change the width to about a third of its present width then you have something that looks the same but will export fine.
