ET82
Hi, some days ago, i get my new macbook pro m1 max 16'' (10cpu/32gpu - 32gb um), but i have big problems with affinity photo, i can't use it at all. (check video) It's slow, very very slow. If i click a menu o every command, the loading icon animation appears. Every command takes many seconds.... user_0815
I'm using an M1 max and 1.10.4 as well. Photo works fine here except under one condition where I get this kind of beach ball. It is when I have an open document with a placed document inside, which is linked (not embedded) AND that linked document is open at the same time. (In other words: A document that contains a linked document which is also open in a separate tab.) Just a guess, but I think it tries to constantly save changes, which uses up the cpu. When I close the linked file, there is no more beach ball. ET82
Staff stokerg Posted February 15, 2022 Staff Share Posted February 15, 2022 Hi @ET82and Welcome to the Forums, Could you try the beta from here and see if you have same problems? @user_0815 If you can create post about your issue, it can be looked into But i'd also suggest giving the beta a try and see if that improves things for you. ET82
Thank you, i will try the beta version. This morning the problem has gone, i don't know why... same files. I open same projects and 20/30 photos togheter, all run in a smooth way so i think there was something in background stokerg
