Anzeige mehrerer Bilder nebeneinander zum Vergleichen

Recommended Posts

I'm a visual artist and I want to compare several paintings with Affinity Photo on my desktop. I have already set the modular mode. But the files are presented with a background which makes them too big because they have a border. I just want to see only the pictures, without any backgrounds or frames.

Arranging multiple windows in Affinity apps is a tricky beast to master.

If you are open to creative alternatives:

  • create a new document having the resolution and aspect ratio of your display
  • place the images you want to compare into the document, and drag them to 1/4 of the canvas size
  • go to full screen mode
  • you can now inspect them, or arrange them as you like
  • In case you want to edit one of the images, increase the canvas size, and place the other images into the same file (temporarily).
  • nest all adjustments etc. to the main image to restrict them to that image

When done with comparing, simply delete the unnecessary image layers, and reduce the canvas again.
