catlover Posted February 10, 2022 Posted February 10, 2022 It's been a while now since I've seen an update for AFD as well as for AFP. Anyone has any idea whether there are any updates planned for the forseeable future ? C.L. Quote
walt.farrell Posted February 10, 2022 Posted February 10, 2022 Well, 1.10.5 should be available in the near future, as it's been in Beta for awhile and its latest Beta release is marked as "RC" (Release Candidate) on Windows. It's mostly just some bug fixes. But I haven't seen any RC betas for Mac or any for iPadOS. Only Serif would be able to say for sure, and they usually don't comment on scheduling. catlover Posted February 10, 2022 Author Posted February 10, 2022 Thanks Walt. I thought I might have missed some since I haven't been active on the forum for a while now. Still, it's been pretty quiet compared to when we were practically "swamped" in days of old with -albeit small- updates eh ? Best, C.L. walt.farrell 1 Quote

As a related question, on these bug fixes, do you know if part of these fixes are addressing Photo's numerous crashes that I've been experiencing in the last update? I've tolerated the crashes that I've experienced in this latest version as we were getting regular updates so I was exercising patience (or at least trying to). Quote

The betas are available to you for testing, and each beta contains a change log that briefly mentioned the major fixes it contains. You can try them, or look at the logs, and decide. You'll find them in the Beta section of the forums. tropolite 1 Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. henryg Posted February 11, 2022 Posted February 11, 2022 I would guess most effort going into a v2. Quote
