RTL support

hello. i've been using designer for 5+ years as probably my main tool. 

its great, fast responsive and powerful. 

but for god's sake , how many years do we need to wait for proper RTL support? most of my work is in hebrew, so i need to go through the big suffering of flipping lines of text in web based "text flippers" then copy paste to designer. this is not serious, and many people use RTL languages.

the program still doesnt have a proper rtl support.  Thats all i care anout.

i use the product for 5 years and this thing still not adressed. So i dont care about any previous answer, i hust care to have another shoutout about the thing. This is free speech. From a customer.

That isn’t a good reason to create a separate thread. It’s easier to follow the discussion if it’s kept in one place.

If I have understood what you have written correctly, you saw that there had already been lots of similar requests but you didn’t want to take the time to see what Serif’s response was. And even if there was a response you didn’t care what it was because you just wanted to tell people what your opinion was.

'Free speech' does not have the same precedence on a private forum, we at Affinity can choose what we do and don't allow users to post here, which is covered in the Forums Guidelines.

GarryP is not a part of the Affinity Staff, but even if they were, that would in no way excuse the rudeness towards this member in your comment. They are simply trying to keep the Forum a 'tidier' place, by following the Forum rules.

We have a multitude of threads regarding RTL support, which Garry has shown in their screenshot above. I would recommend posting in one of these pre-existing threads, should you have any more to add to this conversation, as I will be locking this thread from further replies.

Our developers are aware of users requests for this feature, and have also confirmed it would require a complete rewrite of the Text Engine, and therefore is not something we've provided any timescale or guarantees for.
