Yes, like I almost do everytime in AD. 

At the end I find it easy: just select the part you want to edit, then double-click and fill it with color ^^

Really nice soft painterly quality to this. I love the handling of the subtle shades, especially in the background and water. Nice lighting too on the figure. Great job Hiswe!

Wow, that is super nice!  I love the effects with the noise and gradations.  This is surprisingly subtle for a vector design piece.  I am always amazed at what one can do with this program.  (I haven't even scratched the surface and I've had it for more than a year now!)

Yep it's what I really like in AD, you can do what you want very easily.

No more crappy pixels tools in a vector software (or in the other ways), so just begin something and see where it can take you ^^

@paolo.limoncelli no reference for this one. Just one photo of waitress for the top reference.

And after it was sketching on my tablet, then drawing on AD.

 

@peter don't look too close on the feet ^^

I would like to, but I've never done that XD

And If make one, I would like to make a more textual tutorial. I personally don't like video one ^^
