R C-R
What app are you exporting the PDF from? Is it one of the Affinity ones or something else? Staff Dan C Posted February 3, 2022 Staff Share Posted February 3, 2022 Hi @Fabian Payr, Welcome to the Affinity Forums 19 hours ago, R C-R said: What app are you exporting the PDF from? Is it one of the Affinity ones or something else? I believe this user is likely German, as the translation for the 'Area' dropdown when exporting to PDF is 'All Layout Pages', in the English version this is 'All Spreads'. 20 hours ago, Fabian Payr said: Exporting an PDF I can choose between "pages" and "layout pages". What's the difference? Exporting 'All Pages' will export each page in your document as a separate page in the PDF file, regardless of whether this is a 'facing page' or not in Affinity. Exporting 'All Spreads' will export any facing pages as a singular page in the PDF file, for example 2x A4 facing pages would be exported as 1x A3 page in the PDF. I hope this clears things up! Fabian Payr
I'm talking about Affinity Publisher. Thank you - in fact in german it's "alle Layoutseiten" (all layout pages) and "alle Seiten" (all pages). Preparing the files for book printing I have to use "all pages". hartmut.reitz
I have designed my Print-Forms in Layout-Pages. With the export in PDF single-pages, there appearing peaces from images on the neighbour-page. How can I make an export in PDF without such mistakes? Danke / Thank You Hartmut Reitz
