arta
Is there a way to view and edit spare channels in Affinity Photo?
JFisher
Hi Arta Yes, you can create a spare channel by right clicking in the channels tab (Bottom right corner of the app) and edit the spare channel by right clicking it also :)I hope this helps!J
arta
Hi JFisher, When I right click on a spare channel, I get a limited set of options listed below. Rename Delete Load To Pixel Selection Add To Pixel Selection Subtract From Pixel Selection Intersect With Pixel Selection None of these allow me to view or edit those channels. More specifically, I want to be able to see the grayscale channel and be able to modify it using all the available painting tools (much like photoshops channels). Optikz
I have learned how to make luminosity masks from another forum post and now would like to have "save" spare channel to file as an option so I could create actions like photoshop has. This way I would have to go through making multiple luminosity masks for every image. I think this would be a possibility if you could save these spare channels to file. anon1
You can go to select > save selection > to file and then select > load selection from file or you could open the other photo in another tab and past it into the first one but thats a bit cheated....
