FreshGresh
Howdy, I like to render in RGB because I find the blacks on my Wacom monitor ar much darker than in CMYK mode. I actually draw in white on top of black backgrounds because my eyes are sensitive to light. Anyway, I'm wondering if it's possible to save the file to CMYK for print after creating RGB artwork files in Affinity designer. Thanx! Paul Bravery
Hi FreshGresh, An RGB Affinity file can be converted to CMYK. The resulting black will still be 'dark' because it will be a 'rich black' made up of percentages of CMYK, not 100% K on it's own. I hope this is clear. Paul. livetheshot
You can switch colour modes when you're done editing. Document->Colour Format->CMYK (8 Bit) When you export as a TIF or JPG, make sure that the correct colour profile has been embedded in the image. I think Default was SWOP V2. If you want to retain your edits in RGB, you can either undo the colour mode change once you've exported as a new file or save this new colour mode file as a new afphoto copy. FreshGresh
Thanx Family. I'm using Affinity to make a card for this little girl. If you have a minute, send her one. http://www.wcvb.com/news/girl-who-lost-family-in-fire-has-1-wish-christmas-cards/36855098?utm_source=Social&utm_medium=FBPAGE&utm_campaign=WCVB%20Channel%205%20Boston Paul Bravery
