Jludwig Posted January 23, 2022 Posted January 23, 2022 I am getting this error message when trying to open a file. I was working on this for about 8 hours and was manually saving. The program crashed at one point then afterward, I get this message and can't open this file. Is there anything I can do? I am about to loose an entire day's work. Quote

Staff Lee D Posted January 24, 2022 Staff Posted January 24, 2022 @JludwigWelcome to the forums. The most common cause for this type of message is if you're loading/saving your file to an external/remote location and for whatever reason the connection to the file is lost. You want to save the file locally first and then move it to the other location for safe keeping, it's also advisable to save regularly and include creating backups of your files, especially if the work is important.
