Staff MEB Posted January 19, 2022 Staff Posted January 19, 2022 Hi @xiaobao2002, Welcome to Affinity Forums I'm not sure I understood your question but here is what think you are trying to achieve: start drawing the ellipse as usual then while you do it, tap and hold with two fingers from your other hand on screen - you will see the ellipse will be drawn from its center. Let me know if I misunderstood your question. xiaobao2002 1 Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software

Try selecting it, which should change the Context Toolbar. Are you comparing an earlier version compared to current version? Your first toolbar is significantly different to current toolbar. Features and functions have been moved over the years and many gestures have also changed. Some good, some not so good. The Point Transform tool now provides access to 'around centre' feature but has increased functionality as the 'centre' point can now be moved to any desired location. xiaobao2002 1 Quote M1 IPad Air 10.9/256GB lpadOS 17.1.1 Apple Pencil (2nd gen). In any case, I agree that it's probably just a version difference. Now, to constrain the ellipse while drawing you touch the screen with a finger of the other hand after you start drawing it.
