Gypsy Lobster
i'm new to Affinity Photo. I've checked the first 15 FAQ pages re the Artistic Text Tool but can't find an answer to this question: Is there a way to turn off the blue dots / handles at the corner of the tiext tool box. The dots obscure small fonts and/or short entries.
firstdefence
You can reduce the size of them. Preferences > Tools > Tool handle size: Smallest This is an app wide change not just for the artistic text tool. R C-R
Once you start typing characters in the text block, the handles should disappear, but they will reappear if you move the mouse cursor. This is because they can be used with the mouse to resize, shear, or rotate the text block. If you are having trouble seeing small font sizes it should help if you zoom in -- the handles remain the same size regardless of the zoom level so by zooming in the text will be larger relative to the handles & bounding box. sfriedberg 1 Quote All 3 1.10.8, & all 3 V23.0 Mac apps; 2020 iMac 27"; 3.8GHz i7, Radeon Pro 5700, 32GB RAM; macOS 10.15.7 Affinity Photo 1.10.8; Affinity Designer 1.108; & all 3 V2 apps for iPad; 6th Generation iPad 32 GB; Apple Pencil; iPadOS 15.
