RainerH Posted January 15, 2022 Posted January 15, 2022 in Designer "select same marker color" ("Gleiche MArkerfarbe auswählen") and "Slect same Name" ("Gleichen Namen auswählen") is offered, in publisher not. For what are the Layercolours in publisher? Quote
walt.farrell Posted January 15, 2022 Posted January 15, 2022 They are useful for organizing layers visually, and for that purpose I think they have existed longer than the selection functions have been available. You can also Select them using the Designer Persona of Publisher if you have both applications. Old Bruce Posted January 15, 2022 Posted January 15, 2022 Here on Mac OS 11.6.2 I can use them in both Publisher and Designer plus Photo. No need to use any particular Persona in Publisher. They are not available in either if there is a multiple layer selection already made. Yes, Layer Tag Colors (the colors at the bottom of the right-click menu in the Layers panel) are available in all 3 applications, and in Publisher in all the Personas. However, on Windows, Select Same Tag Color is available only from the Layer Select menu in Publisher, and only in the Designer Persona. It is not available in the right-click menu in the Layer panel at all. Staff stokerg Posted January 18, 2022 Staff Posted January 18, 2022 Hi @RainerH, Thanks for reporting this. I've logged it with the Dev team, as these options are missing on the right click menu on Windows but they are there on MacOS. walt.farrell 1 Quote
