Hello community
Affinity Designer
I have experienced a small change in the export section.  Workbenches with exact measures of 2,000x2,000 in the export window increases by 1 pixel, it can appear either in height or width and it can even appear in both.

The only solution I have found is to do it manually by removing the extra pixel. Task that with several work tables can be exhausting.

Hi,

there are multiple possible factors:

  1. Layers mis-aligned to fractional pixel positions (non-zero digits right from decimal point). As your screenshot shows fractional positions, I suspect this is causing the problem in your specific case.
  2. layer FX like shadow / blur / outline can increase the size of objects
  3. Anti-aliasing leads to additional semi-transparent  edge Pixels

I use iPad screenshots and videos even in the Desktop section of the forum when I expect no relevant difference.

Thanks for your teaching.  I did all the tests you mentioned and indeed it is due to fractional pixcels. Once solving the fractions the export window returns to its actual size.

Thank you very much for this great lesson 👍🏻.
