JCorT Posted January 13, 2022 Posted January 13, 2022 Hello community Affinity Designer I have experienced a small change in the export section. Workbenches with exact measures of 2,000x2,000 in the export window increases by 1 pixel, it can appear either in height or width and it can even appear in both. The only solution I have found is to do it manually by removing the extra pixel. Task that with several work tables can be exhausting. Regards iPad Pro 12,9 M1 Affinity designer 1.10.3 Quote
NotMyFault Posted January 15, 2022 Posted January 15, 2022 Hi, there are multiple possible factors: Layers mis-aligned to fractional pixel positions (non-zero digits right from decimal point). As your screenshot shows fractional positions, I suspect this is causing the problem in your specific case. layer FX like shadow / blur / outline can increase the size of objects Anti-aliasing leads to additional semi-transparent edge Pixels DM1 and JCorT 1 1 Quote Mac mini M1 A2348 | MBP M3 Windows 11 - AMD Ryzen 9 5900x - 32 GB RAM - Nvidia GTX 1080 LG34WK950U-W, calibrated to DCI-P3 with LG Calibration Studio / Spider 5 | Dell 27“ 4K iPad Air Gen 5 (2022) A2589 Special interest into procedural texture filter, edit alpha channel, RGB/16 and RGB/32 color formats, stacking, finding root causes for misbehaving files, finding creative solutions for unsolvable tasks, finding bugs in Apps. JCorT Posted January 30, 2022 Author Posted January 30, 2022 Thanks for your teaching. I did all the tests you mentioned and indeed it is due to fractional pixcels. Once solving the fractions the export window returns to its actual size. Thank you very much for this great lesson 👍🏻. NotMyFault 1 Quote
