Kfarr Posted January 12, 2022 Posted January 12, 2022 This is truly maddening. I have imported 6 png images and when I close the document and delete those images from my desktop they are super low res when I re-open the document. Obviously I am breaking the link. How can get AD to save those png images to the document? I really can not believe that AD has to work with linking resources. Surely I am missing something. Any help much appreciated. Kurt Quote
walt.farrell Posted January 12, 2022 Posted January 12, 2022 It sounds like you have set your document options (Image Placement Policy) to use Linked images when you created the document. In that case you must keep the images available. If you want them embedded in your Publisher document you can choose the Embedded option when creating the document. Or you can use the Resource Manager to change the Linked images to Embedded in the existing document, if the images still exist on disk.
