bigcitygirl
When I import a png file, I want to be able to change the color, or maybe give it a gradient color, but how do I do that in Designer? I've attached an example of a png file that I would like to change the color. If someone could tell me Step 1, Step 2, 3, etc., I would really appreciate it. Thanks! My Strawberry Monkey
Hi, Hope this helps. It will all depend on the image you're working on, but this works for what you had attached. See screenshots to follow along. 1. Select layer and chose FX 2. Choose gradient overlay / Click on gradient 3. Click on those colour circles at either end to select a new colour 4. Adjust gradient slider There is also a tutorial here, that's worth looking at... softsound
There is another way to do if you are in a hurry, if you copy and paste in image you should be able to directly change the color. But yeah using layer effects is the pro way to go about it.Oops. Did not realize this post was so old, sorry! exampleColoring.mp4
