Acquire Image function isn't working in Affinity Photo

Recommended Posts

When I attempt to scan an image using the "Acquire Image" function, the scan is "garbled" (for want of a better description). I have attached 2 images to show what occurs when I scan an image in Preview and when I scan an image in Affinity Photo.

Is there a setting that I need to correct in order to have the Acquire Image function work properly?

Same problem here for the last couple of years. I'm using a Brother DCP-L2530DW in OS X Catalina-there must be a Canon equivalent. I take it there must be some legal wrangle going on over software rights or something.

The workaround (in my case) is to use BrotheriPrint&Scan in my case but it's an awkward fix and disappointing.

Using: Mac OSX Monterey on a Mac Mini (late 2014). Wacom Bamboo. Mouse. Pencils. Pens. Other stuff...
