Mischugo
I think I ask this question every year and I don't give up hope. Since the beginning of Affinity programs there is a desire for a tidy user interface. Arranging palettes / windows. And exactly since then, it still doesn't work. Combine palettes in a user friendly block, move them together and dock them to the main window accordingly .... ? No way. How can you help the Affinity team with this? With examples? They should know them, right? Since I am again lost in the maze of palettes and have lost so much time, I will write my document (in publisher) using the Office functions of Google. Almost a blessing Stay safe! Quote Die Now Live Later - KMFDM
thomaso
Since the beginning of Affinity … there is the option menu View > Separated Mode, which allows to arrange panels and bars separately as you like them on one or more monitors. Additionally, since quite a few app versions, you can use for custom arrangements menu View > Studio Presets to save, recall and toggle between them. No way. You can combine studio panels into tabbed groups, if that is what you mean by combining blocks. Tabbed groups can be docked on either side of the main window, one on the left & one on the right for Macs, more for Windows. You can also stack several tabbed groups in one Studio panel, move individual studio panels into & out of tabbed groups, & so on. As mentioned above, you can in recent versions save & recall multiple configurations via View > Studio Presets & from that menu access the Studio Presets Manager. Using all of these options, you should be able to create presets for just about any workflow imaginable, & switch among them relatively easily from the View menu.
