realkru79
I have two different windows laptops with same version of affinity designer. If i open the affinity designer file, which is created on one laptop, on the other laptop, the font is much bigger than on the other one. What could be the problem? thomaso
Different zoom levels? – What different font sizes do you get numerically? You could give more precise info, show screenshots of both screens with the text selected + the character and layer panels visible. realkru79
Every other element has the same size on every laptop. Only the displaying of the font size is different. But the font size ist 24pt on every laptop because it is the same designer file.

If I interpret your post correctly (?) you mean that only the font size varies (so is shown up differently sized on laptop screen, even it's everywhere setup as 24pt) and other drawn objects are not shown that different size showup way, among the same used Affinity apps on different laptops? realkru79
Thank you all for your quick support. I tried it with Arial - the result on the display is correct. Same size is displayed on both Laptops. The other font is Archtiects Daughter from Google Fonts. I think it was the same font file i used on both laptops, but i´m not sure. So i will try to deinstall this font and install it on both laptops again with same font file. Maybe this will help. I will report it here. kenmcd
You have two different versions of the font installed. The larger one is an older one - v1.001, or v1.002. The smaller one is from Google Fonts - v1.003 Those older versions have larger characters, and slightly different metrics. So make sure both laptops have v1.003 and it should be fine. If the correct version is not available when viewing the document, a warning should be displayed (for example in Preflight). kenmcd 1 Quote Affinity Store (MSI/EXE): Affinity Suite (ADe, APh, APu) 2.3.1.2217 Dell OptiPlex 7060, i5-8500 3.00 GHz, 16 GB, Intel UHD Graphics 630, Dell P2417H 1920 x 1080, Windows 11 Pro, Version 23H2, Build 22631.2506.
