Poziomka
Hi, In Publisher How can I replace a multiple return with a page break? Find \r\r+ Replace "\M , \P - doesn't work Second question, find for example U and replace with <20AC> or other Unicode character. I tried \x{20AC} for Unicode Robert
Raggedmane
Are your returns line breaks or paragraph breaks? You can replace breaks without using Regex by just using the find options.
walt.farrell
@Poziomka: Note that there's a pulldown under the words Find and Replace in @Raggedmane's screenshot above. Those give you a way to specify special characters without having to worry about what the appropriate regex syntax is for them. For your question about U+20AC: First, you can enter that directly if you're typing the text into the document. Just type U+20ac and then press Alt+U (Windows) or Opt+U (Mac) or use the menu Text > Toggle Unicode with the cursor immediately after the c. Or you can get it from the Glyph Browser (View > Studio > Glyph Browser or Text > Show Glyph Browser) and then type euro in the search bar. But if you want to use Find/Replace, a Replace value of \x{20ac} will work. pgraficzny 1 Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. iPad: iPad Pro M1, 12.9": iPadOS 17.4.1, Apple Pencil 2, Magic Keyboard Mac: 2023 M2 MacBook Air 15", 16GB memory, macOS Sonoma 14.4.
