Dean123
Everything works fine but then when I click apply the whole screen freezes and then kicks me out of the document. Any help would be greatly appreciated, probably won’t be resolved however until a new update.
NotMyFault
Hi Dean, could you provide a screen recording? Otherwise it will be impossible to help. READ ME FIRST: Reporting a bug in an Affinity Photo × So that we are able to investigate bugs thoroughly could you please follow this advice. Firstly choose the correct Bugs forum, according to the application you are using (Designer/Photo/Publisher), and the Operating System you are using. In that forum state the following Are you using the latest release version? (here's how to check) Can you reproduce it? (if you cannot then we may struggle to also, making it even harder to fix) Does it happen for a new document? If not do you have a document you can share that shows the problem? If you cannot provide a sample document then please give an accurate description of the problem for example it should include most of the following: What is your operating system and version (Windows 10, OSX Mojave, iOS 12 etc)? What happened for you (and what you expected to happen) Provide a recipe for creating the problem (step-by-step what you did). Screenshots (very handy) or a screen capture/video. Any unusual hardware (like tablets or external monitors or drives that may affect things) or relevant other applications like font managers or display managers. Did this same thing used to work and if so have you changed anything recently? Dean123
Hi thanks, I just tried it and it seems to be working now. Went to screen record, applied the lighting effect in a new document with 2 layers and worked fine. The document I was working on last night however had 15+ layers so maybe that was the issue? But I don’t see how it could be because I was only trying to add a lighting filter to 1 pixel layer 🤷♂️
