Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums, @Laurenpooh. You should not need a product key for the trial, as far as I know. After you install the program and run it, you should be prompted to enter a product key or to "continue trial". Just choose the "continue trial" option. It would be nice if the app initially said “Start trial” to acknowledge that it had never been used! After all, it obviously knows whether or not the trial clock is already running, and you can’t continue something that you haven’t started.
