Pareidol
Hi, I switched from GIMP to Affinity, and it has lots of more features. But one thing I'm missing: In GIMP you can easily adjust your selection rectangle with some "handles" at the selection. Is it possible to easily change the selection similar to this. The selection mask way is way more time consuming and not so intuitive.

smadell
@Pareidol… After making your initial selection, choose Quick Mask (generally, simply press the Q key) and choose the Move tool. Your selection will now be indicated by handles at its four corners. You can transform the size of the selection by dragging any or all of these handles. You can move the selection by click-dragging inside the selected area. Press Q once again to get out of Quick Mask, leaving your edited selection visible. For completeness, I'll add that you can also rotate & shear the selection & use the Transform panel to do all of those transforms numerically. It is also possible to use some of the items on the Move Tool's context toolbar, like setting a different transform center or cycling the selection box, but two of those items (using alignment handles & transforming separately) do not seem to have any effect.
